Kaye will visit local repositories on your behalf to search for original records.  Kaye will also perform basic research to help you answer your research question.  Please keep in mind that an answer is not always achievable due to lack of records, which is called "negative evidence." As well, the answer may be found using "indirect evidence," which is the correlation of two or more unique records.  "Direct evidence" is when a record is found that directly answers your research question.
